Everyone in our team is in demand, including the boss. For example, Martin takes control of the PTZ cameras at hybrid events with live streaming, monitors the internet connection of the Peplink router and the stream that we send to YouTube and LinkedIn via Castr.io. But is that multitasking?
For us, it’s simply part of the job to keep an eye on different tasks at the same time. But what really sets us apart is the efficiency and quality that we can achieve with just three people. Even at an event with around 150 spectators in the hall, two streams on different platforms and several cameras, we only need three team members to organise everything smoothly and professionally. The key to this is our well-rehearsed team, whose communication is so seamless that hardly any queries are necessary. It’s always clear who is in charge and coordinates the team – and it’s not necessarily the boss.
Martin can therefore take care of the cameras during the stream, monitor the internet connection and check the streams on YouTube and LinkedIn. He even keeps an eye on the main presentation, even if the speakers themselves are doing the clicking.
