The calm before the storm – when technology becomes real communication
A moment we know well:
The set-up is complete, the technology is in place, all the signals are running – and it goes quiet.
The calm before the storm.
There is still no audience in the stream, no speaker on stage. But this is exactly where it is decided whether the production will run smoothly later on.
Working in the customer’s studio – this setup was not created in our Stream1 studio, but directly on the customer’s premises. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing more and more often: companies are setting up their own studios.
Especially in the financial services sector, corporations and larger organizations are increasingly creating fixed production environments for:
- Webinars
- Townhalls
- livestreams
- Video recordings
A huge advantage – if you know how to use them properly. But when know-how is lacking, that’s where we come in. Many of these studios are initially created with a lot of know-how – often by individuals or external partners. But what happens then?
The people in charge change, structures change – and suddenly the studio is there, but the knowledge of how to use it optimally is missing. This is exactly where we come in. Not as a “know-it-all”, but as a partner who understands and develops existing setups. Our approach is always the same:
- We take a look at what is already available
- We analyze what works well
- And we make targeted additions where it makes sense
This can look very different:
- Use of the existing infrastructure
- Supplemented by our own technology
- Combination of both
It is often precisely this in-between approach that works best: optimization instead of a complete new build. We rarely find that everything has to be redone. It’s much more often about that:
- Configure existing setups correctly
- Structure processes
- Combining technology sensibly
- Visibly improve quality
And yes – sometimes that also means:
- Targeted additional purchases
- Clear recommendations for better setups
- Adjustments in lighting, sound or direction
But always with the aim of getting the best out of what is available.
A studio alone does not make a good production. The decisive factor is:
- How to direct
- How content is structured
- How technology works together
- How secure and stable the setup is
This is exactly where we bring our experience from countless productions to bear. We turn an existing room back into what it should be: A functioning communication tool.
Conclusion: In-house studios are the future. The trend is clear: more and more companies are investing in their own studios. And that is absolutely the right step. Because it creates:
- Independence
- Flexibility
- Faster production
- Direct communication
Our job is not just to get these studios “up and running”, but to raise them to a level that really delivers results. And it’s at moments like this – when everything is set up and things calm down for a moment – that we know: Now we’re ready to go.
