Die KI Übernimmt, wir fahren sie nur noch hin

AI takes over – we just drive it there! A look behind the scenes of Stream1 from April 1, 2025

It’s early morning, the hall is empty. No babble of voices, no tangled cables, no hustle and bustle. Instead: a quiet whirring. This is the future of AI-controlled livestream production.

Cases open automatically, tripods extend as if controlled by an invisible hand. Cameras align themselves, lenses check the lighting conditions, microphones adjust their levels. The schedule appears on the main screen – complete, error-free, well thought out down to the last detail.

Then a clear voice is heard:
“The stream starts in 5… 4… 3…”

AI takes over the livestream – completely

What looks like magic will be a reality at Stream1 from April 1, 2025:
Our AI will take over the entire livestream process with immediate effect.

And by that we really mean everything:
– Camera control and picture mixing
– Sound mixing and technical setup
– Planning, coordination and briefing of the speakers
– Film editing, trend analysis and even the technical service

We never wanted to do less – just automate the right things

“We never wanted to do less – just automate the right things,” says Martin Prankl, founder and CEO of Stream1. “The fact that it’s now almost everything surprises us a little. But hey – it does it well.”

What is left for us humans to do?

We drive them there.

Because as brilliant as our AI is, it has neither a driver’s license nor the desire to deal with German traffic. So we get in the car in the morning, load her into her black flight case and take her to the location.

She does everything there. Efficiently. Error-free. Friendly.
And we? We watch. Drinking coffee. Sometimes we plug in when she’s being “creative”. Or make small talk with customers while the setup is completed almost silently in the background.

Stream1 – 100% livestream, 1% human

And he drives the suitcase.
