A full church, a festive atmosphere, Cardinal Reinhard Marx at the altar – and our colleague Michael “Bambi” Bamberger in the middle of the livestream action. He operated the JVC Pro camcorder from the gallery and simultaneously controlled the audio mix via the Zoom LiveTrak L-8.
Especially in an acoustically challenging environment like this church, it was crucial to perfectly balance the choir, trumpets and spoken words. With vMix as the control software and a sure hand with the headphones, a live stream was created that brought both picture and sound in the best quality to the public viewing in front of the church.
Such broadcasts – from the camera to the radio channel to the large monitor in the beer garden – are a good example of how we at Stream1 make church events tangible outside the walls.
